THE ART OF
SELF-EXPRESSION
Jeet Kune Do is often called the grandfather of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Both JKD and MMA are taught here. It can be used in the ring, in the streets, and for self-defense.
We have classes for kids, teens, and adults. It's great for self confidence, self-control, focus, health, and much more.
Classes are fun and practical, and consist of warm ups, partner drills, and pad work. We provide personal development, health and wellness, and premier training.
We also offer personal training and semi-private lessons.
ABOUT JKD
Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is a martial art philosophy and fighting style developed by the legendary Bruce Lee in the 1960s. It emphasizes practicality, efficiency, and directness in combat, advocating for the use of techniques that are most effective for the situation rather than adhering to rigid traditional forms.
Bruce Lee's vision was to create a martial art that is fluid, adaptable, dynamic, and fits your philosophy of self-expression and personal growth.
WHY JEET KUNE DO?

Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.”
-BRUCE LEE
LINEAGE
We at Dragon Martial Arts have directly inherited the legacy of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do from his student, Sifu Jerry Poteet, who passed it along to our teacher, Sifu Joel Ledlow. This lineage ensures we teach the authentic and fluid form of Jeet Kune Do.
